Home birth is a safe, sensible choice. Planning a home birth keeps your options open, reduces your chance of interventions, and has benefits for your birth, you as a birthing person, and your partner.
I love home birth. I run home birth groups on and off for over two decades. I have had four myself, and supported hundreds of people planning home births via workshops, webinars, birth pool hire, and as a doula. I've attended conferences on home birth and listened to many of the world's leading experts in birth, home birth, and waterbirth.
Obviously home birth isn't for everyone, but I do think that most people should at least consider it and find out more.
